Monday 19 March 2012

We have had a great start to 2012 with a busy first quarter.

Events included the staff party for the fabulous Peckforton Castle, the Young Farmer's Diamond Jubilee Ball at the Staffordshire County Showground, with a Diamonds are Forever theme; a late Christmas party at the snowy Buxton Palace Hotel, where Las Vegas came to Derbyshire for the evening; a Hollywood themed corporate event in Stafford and a Vegas night for a huge global company at the lovely Premier Suite in Cannock. Add in a few Uni Balls, weddings and 40th parties to add to the mix!

We haven't been sat on our laurels though! We have also attended Wedding Fayres at the lovely Sandon Hall (ST18), the Stonehouse Hotel (Stone) and the St Leonards Club in Stafford and we will also be at the Ashes Exclusive Country House in Endon (ST9) next weekend (25/3/12) for their Tasting Day with the lovely Jenksinsons Caterers (yum!)

Now just writing all that has made me feel tired!

Future events for 2012 include lots of weddings, local Rotary charity fundraisers, school summer balls, and much more... We already have booking for New Years' Eve 2012 and summer Saturdays are starting to fill up with wedding bookings...

Do you know how well a fun casino works at a wedding? Between the speeches and the evening starting, when day guests are milling around listlessly and evening guests are arriving, the casino provides amusement, a great ice-breaker (discussing how much is won and lost!) and a diversion for those who have been sitting for hours! No money changes hands though there is a bit of competitiveness to see who can win the prizes! Can also be used to entertain guests while the Bride & Groom have their photos taken or as part of the evening reception.

Best to book early for any specific dates required and a happy 2012 to you!

Casino on wedding seems like an excellent idea! I'll surely recommend this to future bride and groom who wants to have a memorable wedding event!
